Wait At Least Three Days Before Shampooing

When you dye your hair, the cuticle layer is opened so the color can sink in. However, it usually stays open for about 3 days for the new color to penetrate the hair shaft. If you shampoo your color-treated hair too soon, you will risk having the color washed out. The best solution is to wait for the cuticle to close, before you can shampoo your hair.

Use Sulfate-Free Products in The Shower

Sodium laureth sulfate is what gives your shampoo and conditioner the foaming effect. However, this ionizing detergent is extremely bad for new color-treated hair. Sulfate stripps your hair of its natural oils and moisture, which can then lead the color to slowly fade away. You can use sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner to keep your beautiful color fresh and brand new.

Wash your Hair Less Frequently

Washing hair daily is already a bad idea, even more if you have dyed hair. For the color to last longer, your hair should be washed no more than twice a week. Shampooing basically causes the hair strands to swell, and the color then washes out little by little. Try using dry shampoo once in a while, to refresh your hair without having to actually wash it. Avoid Washing your Hair with Hot Water

¿Cómo decirle adiós a la caspa de una vez por todas?

Te pones tu prenda favorita, te vas al trabajo a por todas y, a media mañana te das cuenta de que parece que ha nevado en tus hombros, ¿te suena? Es normal, una parte importante de la población tiene problemas con la caspa. ¿La parte buena? Que te vamos a enseñar a decirle adiós a la caspa.

¿De dónde sale?

Aunque, antes de nada, hay que saber de dónde sale la caspa y por qué se produce. Porque, si queremos combatir algo de forma eficaz, hay que conocerlo. ¿Dónde se produce la caspa? En nuestro cuero cabelludo, sobre todo en la «raya» que separa los dos lados de nuestra cabeza.

¿Por qué se produce? Eso tiene un poco más de miga, pero las razones principales son dos. O bien porque nuestro cuero cabelludo genera más grasa de la que debería o porque está más seco de lo que debería. En cualquiera de los casos, tiene una fácil solución.

Es hora de decirle adiós a la caspa

Lo primero a lo que deberíamos recurrir al darnos cuenta de que tenemos caspa es, sin duda, a un champú específico para combatirla. Si el problema no es muy serio, con emplear el champú en nuestras duchas durante el tiempo recomendado y no maltratar mucho el pelo, debería ser suficiente.

Estos champús serán ayuda suficiente para hidratar nuestro cuero cabelludo o librarnos de ese exceso de grasa que nos causa la caspa. Aunque claro, siempre que se trate de un caso leve.

¿Por qué deberías empezar a usar aceite de coco?

Si nuestro problema es un poco más persistente o simplemente notamos que esos champús no tienen efecto en nosotros, hay que pasar a medidas un poco más completas. Lo ideal sería seguir empleando el champú anti-caspa mientras usamos estas otras medidas, pero no es obligatorio.

Por un lado, aplicarnos aceite de coco en el pelo tras una ducha puede ser justo lo que necesitamos. Además, de hidratar nuestro pelo y evitar su sequedad, tiene muchos otros beneficios que podemos aprovechar. Si lo acompañamos de aloe vera, será aún más efectivo a la hora de eliminar la caspa y mantener un cuero cabelludo sano.

Si nada funciona, toca acudir al médico

Con estos remedios, debería ser suficiente para decirle adiós a la caspa. Ya que tendremos nuestro cuero cabelludo hidratado, libre de grasa y protegido de la sequedad. Sin embargo, siempre es posible que la caspa no quiera dejarnos en paz.

En este punto lo ideal sería acudir a un dermatólogo y comprobar, aunque sea por si acaso, que todo está bien en nuestra salud capilar. De forma adicional, puede que nos recomiende un antiinflamatorio o un tratamiento algo más «serio» para librarnos del problema.
