One of the simplest yet trendiest ways to rock a head scarf. In fact, head wraps are perfect for any day out, and can match pretty much any outfit. In addition, creating a scarf head band can be done in 30 seconds. Here is how!

Wrap a long scarf around your head, making sure both ends are equal. Then, cross both ends from the front side, right above your forehead. Next, tie both ends and bring them to the back to tie them into a knot. Finally, take the loose ends back to the front, and slide them into the sides.

Knotted Headband

Knotted headbands are a bit more complicated to do, but don’t worry, we take you step by step. First, take your scarf and fold it in half. Then, go to the middle point, and create a knot. After that, place the scarf on your head, with the knot being up front. Then, take the ends from the back and tie them together. Remember to slide the end of the knot into the sides, and adjust the headband.

Bun Style

*SWIPE* I got out of the house the first time for real this weekend! Finally got to wear these cute heels that I got from @evereveofficial. However, I’m so not used to wearing heels anymore (I’ve been LIVING in slides) that I tried them out just for photos to be safe. Lol. But they are REALLY comfy (see in the next 3 photos). And they go perfect with the black slasher tee from Evereve as well. Ps. I love snakeprint, can you tell?!?! And Evereve has so many options plus it’s all on sale right now ??? #evereveambassador

Many ladies like to look lavishing at the beach, and we can’t blame them. Not only that a scarf can help protect you from the sun, but also keeps you feeling fresh. To do a bun-style, wrap a head scarf around a bun. Then, tie your hair into a ponytail and tease one-inch sections until all your hair is teased. Furthermore, wrap your hair around the elastic, and pin it it into a large bun. At the end, wrap the headscarf around the bun and tie it into a large side knot.

Braid Knot

A braid know will make you look super cute and elegant with a summer dress. Wether you are going to the park, shopping or having a drink, a braid know is one of the trendiest ways to rock a head scarf. All you need to do are two simple steps. First, braid your hair, and tie it at the end. Then, take a small scarf, and wrap it around the closed end of the braid. Turn it around until you end up with two small ends, which you’ll need to put into a knot. Voilà!

Which Of These Sunscreen Types Is Better For You?

8 mayo, 2020 by Admin

There are various sunscreen types, and each have their beneficial properties. Moreover, When you think about preparing your skin for the summer, you’re usually only interested in protecting yourself from sun rays, right? However, many times, you leave out other important elements of the cream that can double the benefits. Since not all sunscreens are the same, and we don’t want you going crazy when choosing your next cream, we are going to fill you in on the differences between mineral and chemical sunscreens.

Mineral Sunscreen

These are the creams that probably sound most familiar to you. Especially that they have been very trendy in the past few years. So, how to make the difference? If you can’t find it anywhere in the packaging, there is a very simple method to know. These are the creams that make you feel »sticky»

Furthermore, these types of sunscreen work by blocking the sun’s ultraviolet rays before they reach your skin, so that they stay above it. Yes, that is why they are usually organic and «less harmful» for oily skin, but it also means that you will have to be very careful not to get anything stuck on them, like sand for example.

In exchange, mineral creams assure you that, from the moment you apply it, you will be protected. Also, there is a low probability that your pores will being affected.

Chemical Sunscreen

On the other hand, these creams which are based on chemicals, block ultraviolet rays «from within» your skin. They are one of those sunscreen types that you need to apply for a while before sunbathing, if you don’t want to end up burned in half an hour. But, in return, you won’t end up drenched in sand.

Additionally, you won’t need to apply them as often as mineral creams. However, they also have some down parts, especially if you suffer from acne. Because by penetrating the deepest layers of your skin to protect yourself, some pores may suffer in the process.

Which Is Better For Your Skin Type?

Dermatologists claim that both fulfill their function. However, mineral sunscreen works best with almost all types of skin. Why? Mainly because it will protect you from the Sun from minute 0, therefore, avoiding to burn people with lighter skin.

It is also a great advantage, is that it often has no “side effects» on your skin and pores. Thus, you don’t have to waste all the effort you put into our beauty and skin care routines.

28 abril, 2020 by Admin

Our skin is basically damaged with the simplest thing. However, in the summer, the risk is higher than usual. So, how can you prepare your skin for summer? Of course, homemade masks, treatments and skin-care routines are always a plus. In addition, we present you with 5 things you can do everyday to prepare you skin of the transition towards the heat wave and beach days.

Drink A Lot Of Water

Staying hydrated in indispensable for your skin all year round. However, during the ultimate weeks of spring, and throughout summer, we tend to get dehydrated faster than before. In fact, as the temperatures rise, our bodies release fluids through sweat. And, we know how much we sweat under the sun, even simply by moving. So, it makes sense that we should be increasing our water and fluids intake ahead of time, which will help our skin prepare for summer.

Cleanse Twice A Day

Experts recommend that cleansing should be done once in the morning, and once at night. In fact, sticky humidity causes your face to become greasy. Especially after a day with full-on make up, using some micellar water to clean your pores will help you keep your skin clean, fresh and healthy. Also, don’t forget to exfoliate once a week, to get rid of all the dead skin caused by pollution and make up residues of the week.

Upgrade Your Diet

Our diet changes between seasons, which is completely normal. While in winter we crave more carbs and warm food, in the spring and summer, we often tend to go a bit more »light» on food. Therefore, consuming fruits and veggies not only will help you prepare your skin for the rough summer weather, but will also increase your hydration. In addition to antioxidants and vitamins loaded in this type of foods, certain fruits like watermelon and cucumber are mostly water.

Remove Hair Correctly

Of course, we can’t miss this one. A huge part of our prep for summer is waxing/hair removal process. It’s normal that preparing for the beach and poolside season includes preparing for our »bikini bod.» Therefore, you must know that UV rays increase the risk of skin irritation. Dermatologists advice the constant use of sunscreen, and also avoid projecting treated areas to the sun for at least 24 hours. So, it’s important that your schedule your hair removal appointments accordingly.

Treat Yourself To A Pedicure

Furthermore, the happiest part of our bodies to welcome the hottest seasons of the year, are most definitely our feet. Having spent all year tucked in socks and shoes, it’s finally time for them to breathe. Therefore, getting a pedicure will not only make your feet look great in sandals, but will also get rid of all the dead skin that accumulated over the winter.
